Maren Morris Feels Confident & Powerful In Post-Baby Body

As we previously told you, Maren Morris recently spoke out about the pressure women feel to “snap back” after having a baby, and now, in a new interview, she says her new body has made her feel more confident than ever.
"I feel like it really took me a second to realize, 'Hey, I don't need to just snap back to how I looked before to feel sexy or powerful or myself even,' " she tells “People,” adding that she feels “most comfortable” now after having son Hayes, “and just knowing that I raised another human."
“I feel like that's given me so much confidence that I didn't have before when I was a size two," she explains, saying now that she’s a mom she feels “really powerful in my own body because look what we're capable of."

Mother’s Day is coming up Sunday and Maren says it’s a holday she loves, mostly because, “I love my mom so much.” It’s even more special now that she’s a mom herself, sharing, “last Mother’s Day was my first Mother’s Day being a mom myself and my son was only just a few months old but that was a really special Mother’s Day because it was my first one.”
