Maddie & Tae’s Maddie Font and her husband Jonah have started a new family tradition when it comes to their Christmas tree.
Maddie says their tree is always real because her husband is “a stickler for a real tree,” and they always shave off a bit of the bottom to make an ornament with the year on it.
She says they also collect nutcrackers, and have fun with a White Elephant gift exchange, noting, “I always end up with the best gift somehow, because Jonah and I tag team White Elephant.”
Of course both Maddie and Tae love holiday food, with Tae’s favorite being cranberry sauce “straight out of the can.” Maddie, meanwhile, loves mashed potatoes, as well as cornbread casserole which she calls “one of the staples.”
