Luke Grimes became a star on "Yellowstone" - and is in the process of expanding his horizons as he embarks on a country music career.

Friday, Luke released the third song from his upcoming debut album. The song, "Hold On," is one of only two on the album that Luke didn't have a hand in writing. "'Hold On' has become one of my favorite songs on the (upcoming) album," Grimes said in a statement. "Foy Vance is one of my favorite current songwriters and although he and I couldn’t get together in person, I knew I wanted him to be a part of this album. He had this song that had not been cut and I immediately fell in love with the words; I felt so connected to it. It’s a familiar feeling, the fear of falling too deeply for someone because you could ultimately get hurt. I think it’s a universal feeling for anyone who has had their heart broken."

"Hold On" follows Grimes' previously released singles, "Oh Ohio" and "No Horse To Ride." No release date has been set for the still untitled album, but fans can see Luke on tour including appearances at Stagecoach, Under The Big Sky Festival, Windy City Smokeout, Fairwell Festival, Bourbon & Beyond Music Festival, Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival and the Auburn Rodeo.
