Luke Combs continues to add to his honors this year. The singer was just named the winner of the Nashville Songwriter Awards’ songwriter-artist of the year award.

This is the second year in a row that Luke has won the honor, being recognized for writing such hits as “Beautiful Crazy,” “Beer Never Broke My Heart,” “Does to Me,” and “Even Though I’m Leaving.”

The coronavirus forced the Nashville Songwriters Awards to go virtual this year. Also winning this year is Ashley Gorley, who was named songwriter of the year.

  • ONE MORE THING! Speaking of award shows, Luke has signed on to perform at the Billboard Music Awards, which will air live on NBC October 14th. Luke, who is nominated for four BBMAs, will be performing on the award show for the first time.
  • And...As we told you, Luke is set to release a deluxe version of his sophomore album “What You See Is What You Get" on October 23rd, featuring five new songs. Well, now he's given fans a taste of one of them, sharing a clip of the tune "The Other Guy."
