Luke Combs has another hit album on his hands. The singer’s new EP, “The Prequel,” debuts at number one on the Top Country Albums chart, his second number one album. The EP also debuts at four on the all-genre “Billboard” 200, moving 48,000 equivalent album units, 22,000 in traditional album sales.
Interestingly, Luke's first number one, his debut "This One's For You," is currently at number two on the Top Country Albums chart, making him the first country artist to hold the top two spots since Chris Stapleton did it in February, 2018 with "From A Room: Volume 2" and "Traveller."
- And that's not the only good news for Luke, his latest single "Beer Never Broke My Heart" is now at number one on the Country Streaming Songs chart, his second number one on that chart, following "Beautiful Crazy." Plus, all five songs from "The Prequel" are in the Top 25 on the Hot Country Songs chart, with "Beer" the highest at three.
