Luke Combs Invited To Be The Next Member Of The Grand Ole Opry

Luke Combs has certainly been enjoying some major success and things got even better earlier this week. While performing at the Grand Ole Opry, Chris Janson, Craig Morgan and John Conlee came out to invite Luke to be a member of the prestigious institution.
“We just want to touch you. What a career this guy is having. It is incredible. You all know that. We all know that. The Grand Ole Opry wants you to know that we just love you,” John first told Luke, before he, Chris and Craig all asked him, “How would you like to be the next member of the Grand Ole Opry?”
Luke was visibly emotional after being invited, breaking down in tears in front of the crowd. “This is the absolute feather in my cap for me as far as career goals. It is the absolute number one thing for me. It cannot be surpassed,” he later shared. “It’s something I’ve dreamed about since I made my debut… I just can’t believe it. - Luke also took to Instagram to reflect on the moment, sharing, “No way to express in words what yesterday meant to me. Being invited to be the next member of the Grand Ole Opry is the highest honor in country music and something I will cherish for the rest of my life,” adding, “Thank you to the @opry for believing in me and welcoming me, my band, and my team with open arms since day one…. God bless the Opry and God bless country music.”
