Luke Combs’ Debut Album Tops Chart For 41st Week

Luke Combs has a new chart milestone. The singer’s debut album, “This One’s For You,” is spending its 41st week at number one on the "Billboard" Top Country Album chart, tying Garth Brooks’ “No Fences” for the third-most weeks at number one in the chart’s history.

The album with the second-most weeks at number one in Randy Travis’“Always & Forever,” which topped the chart for 43 weeks, with Shania Twain’s “Come On Over” the leader with 50 weeks.

And Luke’s latest EP “The Prequel,” is also doing pretty well. It's at number three on the Top Country Album chart this week, after originally debuting at number one.

Elsewhere on the Country charts…

  • Blake Shelton’s “God’s Country” returns to the top of the Hot Country Songs chart for a seventh week. It’s also number one on the Country Airplay chart for a second week.
  • Kenny Chesney’s new tune, “Tip of My Tongue,” debuts at number 20 on the Country Airplay chart, and at 40 on the Hot Country Songs chart. The tack is his 90th entry o the Country Airplay chart, which ties Garth for the second-most chart entries, with both trailing behind George Strait, who has 99.
