Both Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley received ACM Award nominations this week and both are certainly thankful to be recognized.

Luke, who received two nods, Entertainer of the Year and Single of the Year, is particularly proud that his song “Most People Are Good” was recognized. “I just felt like it was a really, really important song for the world to hear, an important song for me to have in my live show and to put out on radio,” he says, "and to have it nominated is so rewarding for me and I’m so happy for the songwriters.”

Meanwhile, Dierks, who is up for Male Artist of the Year, realizes that each year “it’s gonna be harder” to get recognized in the category with such great artists like Luke Combs and Thomas Rhett in the mix. “There’s less space,” he says. “There’s only five guys in there, and to be one of those I think I appreciate it now more than ever.”

Dierks is also particularly excited to be recognized in the Album of the Year category for “The Mountain,” calling it “the biggest nomination ever to get for anything,” adding, “I was very appreciative of it.”
