Lineup For “Macy’s 4th Of July Fireworks Spectacular” Announced

Independence Day is Saturday and Macy’s just announced the lineup for their annual “4th of July Fireworks Spectacular,” although the fireworks will be a little different this year, thanks to the coronavirus.
The show, hosted by “Today” anchor Craig Melvin, will feature performances by Lady A, John Legend, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, the Black Eyed Peas and the Killers,
Like always, the telecast will conclude with fireworks, but to discourage gathering, instead of one huge set of fireworks, New York will be hosting a series of weeklong surprise displays across the five boroughs. There will be one grand finale at the Empire State Building, which will be broadcast, along with tape of the previous night’s fireworks.
The “Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular” airs Saturday at 8 pm EST on NBC.
