The Country Radio Seminar hosts a New Artist Showcase every year, and some of the biggest names in country history got their start playing that showcase. Names like Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan, George Strait and Jelly Roll all played the showcase in what is an annual tradition in Nashville. To be named as a performer for the showcase is considered a huge honor for any country performer just starting out. Yesterday, the 2024 lineup for the New Faces Showcase was announced.
Taking the stage before some of country radio and record label movers-and-shakers will be Megan Moroney, George Birge, Dillon Carmichael, Corey Kent and Conner Smith. Next year's CRS will take place Feb. 28-March 1 at the Omni Nashville hotel. Is the next Taylor Swift or George Strait among those five? Only time will tell.
