Lineup For 2020 Merlfest Announced

Another edition of Merlefest will be happening this April, and the lineup has just been announced.
Set to take place April 23rd to 26th in North Carolina, 2020 MerleFest will feature performances by Willie Nelson and Family, Alison Krauss, the Jerry Douglas Band, Jim Lauderdale, Sam Bush, Donna the Buffalo, and Peter Rowan and the Free Mexican Airforce, with a full lineup to be announced at a later date.
The festival was founded by Doc Watson in 1988 and named the event after his son, Eddy Merle Watson, who died in a tractor accident in 1985. The event raises funds for Wilkesboro, North Carolina’s Wilkes Community College Foundation. Tickets for the fest are on sale now.
