Lindsey Ell Had A Strong Reaction To “What Happens In A Small Town”

Brantley Gilbert and Lindsay Ell recently released the duet “What Happens in a Small Town,” and Lindsay says she had a strong reaction to the tune as soon as she heard it.
“I was just taken aback from the song,” she says, adding, “from a minute in I’m like ‘Wow, this is something really special.’”
And while some folks may not have expected that she and Brantley would be a good match, that’s actually one of the things she liked about the song. She notes, “I mean my favorite duets are from artists that you wouldn’t necessarily think of singing a song together.”
