Last week we told you Luke Bryan's reaction to Lauren Alaina and Lainey Wilson's "Thicc As Thieves" - and how they called him up and asked permission to use part of his "Country Girl (Shake It For Me)" in their song. That was Luke's version of events. Lauren tells it a little differently.
On SiriusXM, Lauren explained that she used the bar of Luke's song first - and then sent the finished product to Luke and asked, "Hey, is this ok?" "And he FaceTimed me and he was like, ‘Lauren!' He was like, 'Well y’all do have a lot in common, don’t ya? You girls are so funny.'" Permission granted (after the fact). Check out the interview to the right.
