Lauren Alaina Telling Her Story On New Album

Lauren Alaina’s new album “Sitting Pretty On Top Of The World” is out now and she says the songs on the album showcase her “growth” over the past few years.
"I share a lot of really personal stories on this album, really big moments in my life that kind of changed and shaped who I am,” she says, “And this album for me is about me being a woman," and, "is about me loving myself despite some boy not loving me or grieving the loss of my stepfather and achieving my dreams."
She adds, “And I’m just I’m excited for the fans to hear my take on the things that have happened in my life because I’ve lived a pretty public life for the last ten years, and I think it’s about time that I tell what happened and I tell my story.”
