LAUREN ALAINA ANNOUNCES NEW EP

Lauren Alaina is read for the next stage of her career. New label (Big Loud Records) and a new EP ("Unlocked"), the "American Idol" runner-up and country star is preparing to drop her most revealing and personal set of songs yet. 

"This music comes from my heart and my hometown. I am who I am because of where and who I come from, and I’m more me today than I’ve ever been. I can’t wait to unlock this next chapter with you," she said in a statement. What we know so far: songwriters the assisted on the project include Luke Bryan, Cole Swindell and Alaina herself, among others; the final song on the six-song EP is a duet with Lainey Wilson titled "Thicc As Thieves," and it is available everywhere next Friday.
