Lady A is currently out on the road with their “What A Song Can Do” Tour, with special guest Carly Pearce, and that has apparently spawned a collaboration.
During Lady A’s latest “Webisode Wednesday,” they shared video of Hillary Scott and Carly teaming up for “Does He Love You,” a song originally made famous by Reba McEntire and Hillary’s mom, Linda Davis.
“It’s a good, just kind of ‘cat fight’ of a song. It’s really fun,” Hillary says in the clip. “My mom actually, I sent her a text whenever we decided we were gonna do it, and she sent Carly the sweetest voice memo,” adding, “She said, ‘rhinestones, fringe and fur are gonna fly tonight.’”
- Carly also commented about the cover, noting, “When @hillaryscottla asks you to be the @lindadavisnashville to her @reba, you say YES! 😍❤️ so honored to sing this iconic 90s duet on the road this past weekend!”
