Kid Rock Cancels Texas Shows After Half His Band Gets COVID

Kid Rock didn’t perform in Texas this weekend as planned. He canceled the shows after “over half” of his band came down with COVID-19.
Kid Rock was supposed to play Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth on Friday and Saturday, but on Thursday he took to Twitter revealing the shows were called off… and he wasn’t happy about it, saying he wasn’t the one who got COVID.
He wanted to find a way to “rock the house” without his band, but said the matter was out of his hands. He also got ahead of “media trolls” by clarifying that both he and his band members got vaccinated.
