Kenny Chesney Earns Several Platinum Certs

Kenny Chesney might not have enough room on his mantle to hang his stocking after his new batch of RIAA certifications. The new certs include his 2004 album “When The Sun Goes Down” being certified five-times platinum, “American Kids” passing four-times platinum, and both “Hemingway’s Whiskey” and “Just Who I Am: Poets & Pirates” now both double platinum.
Chesney picked up a total of 28 new certifications from the RIAA, which gives him 33 million Platinum and Gold singles in addition to his 10 million RIAA-certified album sales.
