Kelsea Ballerini has a little something to say to those making lip-sync allegations against the young singer. Her stirring rendition of "Mountain With A View" on last Thursday's People's Choice Country Awards was perhaps a little too good for some observers, who levied lip-sync accusations against the star. She wasn't about to just let that go unanswered.

In a response in her Instagram stories, Kelsea posted a pic of her casting a little "side-eye," captioned "Me singing live watching people thinking otherwise." She also added, "I just want to say if I was lip-syncing, I would’ve sounded a lot better. One of the cameras was off, thank you and goodnight." For added measure, NBC and People's Choice also stated that her performance had a glitch on the live broadcast - which is slightly at odds with NBC's Tweet that said, "@kelseaballerini’s FLAWLESS glitch-free performance 🤩 nobody does live vocals like her!"
