While visiting "Watch What Happens Live" with Andy Cohen, Kelly Clarkson was asked how her relationship with Reba McEntire was, now that Kelly and Reba's stepson, Brandon Blackstock, have divorced in a very public, very contentious way.
Kelly assured the host - and fans - that she and Reba were good.
"We were friends before Brandon and I even got together…so yeah, as a matter of fact, literally, we were talking about - before she signed on to “The Voice” - we were texting each other about that…I think we’re both…women of sound mind that know that life doesn’t work out sometimes…I mean…she would know best!…so no hard feelings there, just feelings." Kelly also admitted that Reba was a major influence on her singing career.
