As expected, Kane Brown tops the “Billboard” 200 Album chart this week with his latest release “Experiment.” The singer moved 124,000 equivalent album units, 105,000 in traditional album sales, to earn his first-ever number one.
“Experiment” is now the third country album to land at number one this year, following Carrie Underwood’s “Cry Pretty” and Jason Aldean’s“Rearview Town.” It is also the fourth-largest sales week for a country album this year, following both the Carrie (266,000 units) and Jason (183,000) albums, as well as Keith Urban’s “Graffiti U,” which moved 145,000 units.
- Coming in at number two this week is Imagine Dragons’ “Origins,” followed by Trippie Redd’s “A Love Letter” at three, Lil Peep’s “Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt 2” at four and Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s “A Star Is Born” soundtrack at five.
- Rounding out the Top Ten is: The Beatles’ “White Album” at six, thanks to its 50th Anniversary reissue, at six, Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” soundtrack at seven, Metro Boomin’s “Not All Heroes Wear Capes” at eight, Drake’s former “Scorpion” at nine and Travis Scott’s“Astroworld” at ten.
