Kacey Musgraves Set For MTV VMAs, Talks New Boyfriend

As we previously told you, Kacey Musgraves just released her new song “Star-Crossed” and now she’s set to perform it for the very first time. Kacey has been booked to perform the tune at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards, which will be her VMA debut.
The 2021 MTV Video Music Awards will air September 12th at 8 pm live from the Barclay’s Center in New York.

- The singer opens up about her new relationship in a new interview with the New York Times. Kacey says she first spotted her now boyfriend, Cole Schafer in a crowded restaurant, and they actually locked eyes. Kacey notes, “He did not know who I was, which I loved.”
- She also joked about the end of her marriage to Ruston Kelly, who she filed for divorce from in 2020 after more than two years of marriage. She cracked, "I wasn't going to be a real country artist without at least one divorce under my belt.”
