Kacey Musgraves is returning next month with a new album. The singer just announced that her fourth studio album, “star-crossed," will be released September 10th. She also dropped the title track from the record.
“star-crossed” is described as a “modern-day tragedy in three acts,” which “tells an extremely personal journey of heartache and healing.” It is Kacey's first record since releasing the GRAMMY winnig “Golden Hour,” and her first since her divorce from husband Ruston Kelly.
But that’s not all. In conjunction with the album’s release Kacey will also debut “star-crossed: the film” on Paramount + on September 10th. “We wanted it to feel cinematic and epic without compromising the heart and the emotion,” director Bardia Zeinali says of the movie, “to feel fantastical and heightened and tell her story through the lens of art and fashion.”
