Justin Moore On Why Everyone Can Relate To “You, Me & Whiskey”

Justin Moore recently released the new single “You, Me, & Whiskey,” featuring Priscilla Block, about a couple who may have drifted and need to find time for each other. And while Justin is perfectly happy with his wife of 15 years, he insists he can relate to the song.
“My wife and I have four beautiful children together, which we absolutely adore, but they drive us nuts at the same time – you know, you do have to make time for your relationship, your romantic relationship,” he shares. “And that’s kinda what that the song represents to me.”
He adds, “for me, our children are certainly priorities in our lives but we also have to make you and I a priority, whether it’s you me and whiskey, you me and insert whatever,” noting, “It hit home for me for sure.”
As for Priscilla, who is single, she thinks “anybody can kind of relate” to the song, noting, “whether you’re a married couple and you just need some time to be together, or if it’s just like me, me and whiskey, which a lot of times it is. You know what I mean?”
