Jon Pardi Is Staying Home This Christmas

Jon Pardi isn’t going anywhere this Christmas. The singer says he and his wife Summer will spend the holiday at their home outside of Nashville and “we’re excited.”

“We already called all the family and said, ‘We’re staying in Nashville. We’re not coming out to California or to Texas. We’re staying in good ole Goodlettsville and we’re gonna relax at our house and enjoy our decorations,” he says, noting it’s “our new thing."

He admits it’s tough because his mom is in California, as is wife Summer’s parents, but says, “‘cause this was such a crazy year of touring, we kinda just said hey, we’re gonna stay home.”

• And if they’re home, there’s a good chance Jon will be watching one of his favorite Christmas movies, which include “Bad Santa,” and “Elf.” “Elf is pretty much probably one of the funniest Christmas movies to ever be that new and come out and beat out all of the old Christmas movies,” he says. “It is definitely up there.”
