Jimmie Allen To Be “American Idol” Mentor

Jimmie Allen is going to help out aspiring singers. Jimmie announced on Instagram that he is set to mentor this year’s contestants on ABC’s “American Idol.” 

Jimmie made the announcement via video from Disney's Aulani Resort & Spa in Hawaii, noting, "Cannot wait for you guys to see the talent they have in store for you.”

But Jimmie won’t be doing the mentoring on his own. He’ll share the gig with Bebe Rexha.

Season 20 of American Idol premieres February 27^th.
