Lady A’s latest single “Like A Lady” has a bit of an attitude, and it’s not hard for Hillary Scott to get into the right mindset to sing the song.
Hillary says she’s had plenty of relationships that she “busted out of, like in this song,” noting, “even though that might not be exactly where I am in life right now.” She adds, “I’m far from it but it sure is fun to travel back there and get into that character cause I’ve still got some spunk around those heartbreaks.”
And that sass isn’t only reserved for Hillary, with Charles Kelley saying he feels it as well. He shares, “it’s fun to be able to, I think, put yourself in other people’s shoes, you know even if you’re not there right now in your life. You’ve been there.”
