How Thomas Rhett’s Wife Helped Him Write “Country Again”

If it wasn’t for Thomas Rhett’s wife Lauren fans may not be enjoying his new single “Country Again” right now.
The singer says for the first “30 or 40 days” in quarantine due to the pandemic he was “freaking out cause I did not know what to do,” and it was Lauren who calmed him down and got him writing music again.
He notes, “My wife was like, ‘Honey, I think you have to just realize that you can’t do this right now. So, maybe why don’t you just take a step back and live some life and then go try to write again.’”
He says that he then decided to take a two-month break without writing, which he says was “the longest I’ve ever gone,” and when he was ready again, he shares, “the very first song I wrote was ‘Country Again’.”
