There’s no doubt the past year and a half wasn’t easy, and while things may be getting a bit back to “normal,” the same can’t be said for a lot of people’s stress levels.
A new survey finds:
- The pandemic was so stressful that half of Americans fear they won’t ever be able to fully de-stress, even when everything is back to normal.
- 55% say stress has left them feeling burnt out.
- 46% say they are desperate for a way to handle that stress.
But some people do have ideas for their perfect way to de-stress. They include:
- A trip to a luxury resort (34%)
- Shopping spree (29%)
- Time alone in a cabin in the woods (24%)
- A solo road trip (21%)
- Time alone on a mountain (18%)
- The average American insists they’d need 10 days in their ideal location to de-stress.
But if they can’t get away, there are other things people do that help relieve their stress.
- They include:
- Listening to music (45%)
- Taking a walk (38%)
- Binge-watching TV (33%)
- Taking a deep breath (29%)
- Cuddling a pet (28%)
