Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood helped folks get into the holiday spirit last night, with their CBS special “Garth & Trisha Live! A Holiday Concert Event,” which had the superstar couple singing songs requested by fans.
Songs featured on the special included “What I’m Thankful For,” “Little Drummer Boy,” “Silent Night,” “Santa Baby,” “Belleau Wood,” “Mary Had A Little Lamb,” “Ugly Christmas Sweater,” “Oh Holy Night,” “Frosty the Snowman,” “Feliz Navidad,” “Hard Candy Christmas,” Dan Folgerberg’s classic New Year’s song “Old Lang Syne.”
There was also at least one non-Christmas song, with Garth and Trisha performing their cover of Lady Gaga’s “Shallow.”
