Gabby Barrett set for “American Idol” return: Gabby Barrett is set to return to the reality show that jumpstarted her career. The singer is set to mentor season 20 hopefuls on the April 24th episode of “American Idol.” Gabby appeared on season 16 of “Idol,” coming in third behind Caleb Lee and winner Maddie Poppe. The show also introduced her to her eventual husband, Cade Foehner.
