Eddie Montgomery Drops First Solo Single

Eddie Montgomery is taking his first steps as a solo artist. The singer, one-half of the superstar duo Montgomery Gentry, just released his first-ever solo single, “Alive and Well.”
“This was a hard song to write, but it’s one that I thought so many could relate to,” Eddie, whose singing partner Troy Gentry died in a helicopter crash in 2017. “We’ve all had losses, fought the good fight, and rose to celebrate a new day.”
He adds, “I hope friends and fans take away a renewed sense of gratefulness for the life they live when they hear this song.”
