People use all sorts of different ways to remember things: Post-It notes, jotting stuff down in a notebook, anything to keep passing thoughts for later retrieval. But in 2023, we have more high-tech ways of doing that, as Dylan Scott revealed on Instagram yesterday.
The singer posted the acoustic version of a song that he had worked on and then stashed away - and recently rediscovered - on his phone's voice memo app. Titled "Since You've Been Around," he put the song to a series of clips of a day in the life of his family, saying "Found this song in my voice memos on my phone. Wrote this a couple years ago and forgot about. Seemed cool to add to this video."
While fans were enthusiastic about the rediscovered track, one commenter, @coletaylormusic, commented, "Hell yeah buddy! Loved this one since we wrote it." Apparently the song's co-writer is excited the song is finally seeing the light of day, even if it is just on Instagram (so far). Check the tune out to the right.
