Drake White’s Wife Helped Him Learn To Walk Again

Drake White recently released the new song “Power of a Woman,” and he’s seen that first hand with his wife Alex, who was influential in teaching him to walk again after he suffered his brain hemorrhage back in 2019. 

“There were times that I didn't feel like going on," Drake tells “People.” "I just wanted to quit.”

But his wife wouldn’t let him. “Alex was truly the person that," he says, "when I was mad and upset about not being able to walk and I didn't know what was going to happen to me, she would be the one who would then take charge."

Alex even went so far as to tape her leg to White’s left leg to remind him of what it felt like to walk again. He notes, “She helped me back on my feet and got me back on stage, along with the help of my mom and (Alex's) mom and my aunt and so many other incredible women."
