Texas native Matthew McConaughey has recruited a whole host of A-list musicians for an upcoming concert to raise money for those affected by the recent deadly storms in Texas.
The “We’re Texas” virtual revival will stream March 21st at 8 pm ET, featuring Don Henley, Kelly Clarkson, Willie and Lucas Nelson, George Strait, Khalid, Miranda Lambert, Post Malone, Parker McCollum, Leon Bridges, Kirk Franklin, Lyle Lovett and more.
"Everybody I called, within the first two minutes, (said), 'I'm in.' I didn't have to call anybody back," Matthew shared on Today. "So, Texas is really rallying around helping out the people that are gonna need it.”
- Proceeds from the virtual concert, which will air on the Oscar winner’s YouTube page, will go to McConaughey’s Just Keep Livin' Texas Relief Fund.
