Dolly Parton has reworked her classic song “Jolene” for the soundtrack to the Netflix film “Dumplin’.” The new take is a stripped down string version of the song, featuring a slowed down vocal.
“Jolene’s been on the prowl a long time,” Parton tweeted, “but she just got a makeover and I couldn’t be more excited to share the new string version with y’all!”
“Dumplin’,” which stars Jennifer Aniston, premieres on Netflix December 7th. The soundtrack drops November 30th. Check out Dolly’s new version of “Jolene” above.
