Dierks Bentley Debuts At Number One On “Billboard’s” Country Albums Chart

Dierks Bentley earns his seventh “Billboard” number one album, as his new release, “The Mountain,” debuts at the top of the country albums chart. The album moved 102-thousand units -- 94-thousand in traditional album sales -- its first week out, which surpasses the first-week performance of his last album, 2016’s “Black,” which also debuted at number one on the “Billboard” country albums chart. “Black” moved 101-thousand units -- 88-thousand in traditional album sales -- its first week out.
- Sugarland’s “Bigger” debuts on the chart at number two, and last week’s chart-topper, Luke Combs’ “This One’s For You,” drops to number three. Jason Aldean’s “Rearview Town” is at number four and Kane Brown’s self-titled album is number five.
- Rounding out the top ten: the multi-artist “NOW That’s What I Call Country, Volume 11” debuts at number six, Thomas Rhett’s “Life Changes” is number seven, Chris Stapleton’s “Traveller” is number eight, Brett Young’s self-titled album is number nine and Zac Brown Band’s “Greatest Hits So Far…” holds steady at number ten.
