"AI" Star HunterGirl Makes Her Grand Ole Opry Debut: "American Idol" standout HunterGirl made her Grand Ole Opry debut Saturday, and it was an emotional moment for the young singer. "I told myself I wouldn’t cry, but it’s hard not to," she said, and then proceeded to leak a few tears as she checked off a huge box in her career path. "I have dreamed of playing at the Grand Ole Opry since I was a little girl,” says HunterGirl. “It was a full circle moment getting to step into the circle that night. Singing on that stage felt like becoming a part of something greater than myself." She posted a clip from the evening on her Instagram.
Gary Allan Ties The Knot: Gary Allan is single no more! The singer married his long-time girlfriend Molly Martin at the Sumner County mayor's office in Gallatin, Tennessee last month, according to "People" magazine. The nuptials happened February 5. Only the officiant - Mayor John C. Isbell himself - and a photographer were present to witness the ceremony. "Molly and I had been trying to find the right time and the right spot to get married, and we just decided the time was now. We just didn't want to keep waiting," Allan explains. "We may still do a bigger celebration later on, but for now we are happy to be husband and wife."
George Birge Drops A Clip For New Song, "It Ain't Austin": He's blatantly teasing fans now. George Birge, whose first single "Mind On You" hit #1 on the country charts, dropped a clip of a previously unheard song on Instagram yesterday. Alongside the clip for a song called "It Ain't Austin," George put the caption, "Y'all want an album?" Pretty sure the answer from fans is a resounding "yes" - especially if it sounds like what we've heard so far.
Zach Bryan Teases Piano-Based Unreleased Song: When we hear a Zach Bryan song in its raw form, which we are blessed to do quite often as Zach has a tendency to put his "works-in-progress" on his socials for the fans, it's usually Zach and a guitar. Yesterday Zach posted a raw version of a song he's working up called "The Way Back." The video clip shows Zach playing piano and singing solo. Many of the songs he puts out on social media end up a little more polished and part of a future project, so that may be the ultimate destination for this one. .
Justin Moore, Randy Houser Announce Co-Headlining Tour: Last week, Justin Moore and Randy Houser did an unannounced pop-in at Tootsie's in Nashville, and while they were on stage they teased a big announcement coming from the two of them. We found out what the big news was yesterday, as they announced their co-headlining "Country Round Here Tonight" tour, playing 12 shows across the South, Northeast and Midwest later this year. The tour kicks off in Charlotte, North Carolina on September 5 and wraps up in St. Louis, Missouri on October 12. Check out Justin's website for more info.
Carly Pearce Kills Maren Morris Feud Rumors: Sometimes a duet is just a duet. Carly Pearce has a collaboration with Ryan Hurd on the upcoming Tom Petty country tribute album, "Petty Country: A Country Music Celebration Of Tom Petty." Ryan, of course, is Maren Morris' ex-husband. The Internet being the Internet, people are posting that the reason they're singing together is because Carly has it out for Maren. Carly read the comments and entered the chat via X. "Okay. Since I have seen this all over, I figured I would respond. Ryan has a been a friend of mine for over 10 yrs. I was asked by my label to record this song with him for the Petty tribute and of course I said yes because he’s a great artist. STOP making something out of nothing!" You got it straight from the horse's mouth: nothing to see here, so move along.
