Luke Combs Announces "Bootleggers Bonfire" Weekend: Luke Combs fans, start making your plans now, because this sounds like an incredible weekend. The superstar announced his "Bootleggers Bonfire" weekend yesterday, and it seems like a fan's dream. To hear Luke describe it, "I’ll be playing two shows (one with deep cuts only – nothing I typically play at a concert, and one with the songs we play on tour). I am also inviting a few artists to perform during the weekend and planning some fun activities for all the Bootleggers," he says. "This will be unlike anything else I do, so I’m super excited and looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible later this year at the beach." The event will be held in Miramar Beach, Florida from October 10-12, with the weekend being limited to 5-thousand guests. Three-day passes to attend all shows and official activities will start at $395 per person. Rooms with all fees included for three nights start at $1,050 for two to four guests and $1,350 for groups of four or more.
Cyndi Thomson Looking To Mount A Comeback: It's been more than 20 years since Cyndi Thomson burst on to the scene with her debut single, "What I Meant To Say," which hit #1 and came from her gold album "My World." But as quickly as she rose, she disappeared, saying in a letter to the industry and fans that a country music career was an "overwhelming life changing experience" and that she "cannot commit to [the] obligations" of making a new album. And just like that, she vanished from the country music scene. In 2009 she quietly put out a five-song EP, but her promising career remained just that - promising. Now Thomson has announced she's attempting a comeback. The singer said yesterday that her new full-length album, "The Georgia In Me," is scheduled for release on March 15. .
