Colt Ford Sends Video To Fans From His Hospital Bed: As Colt Ford continues to recuperate from the massive heart attack he suffered earlier this month, fans are happy to have heard him for the first time talk about the incident on the "Big D & Bubba" show earlier this week. Yesterday, even more encouraging, the country rapper posted a video on his socials where he addressed fans directly. Looking tired and with a recent incision visible on his upper chest from emergency surgery, Colt said, "I just wanted to tell you guys, thank y'all for all the prayers, the love, the comments, the messages...I got a long way to go. But I promise you this ol' country boy will get back. it probably won't be this year; I hate I gotta miss all these shows, but I'm coming back."

Morgan Wallen Reportedly Opening Second "This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen" In Vegas: Morgan Wallen knows a thing or two about bars: throwing things from them and ending up behind them, most recently. His "This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen" is set to open up in Nashville later this year, but Morgan's already looking past that - reportedly readying a second location in Las Vegas. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Wallen is reportedly opening a restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip, which would presumably be another location of his "This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen." The restaurant would occupy 10,000 square feet on the second and third floors of 63 Las Vegas, located at 3716 Las Vegas Blvd. South. A building permit filed for the space show the construction of a new "Vegas Country Music Restaurant," and a permit has also been filed for the construction of an "ellipse rooftop balcony." No word yet from Morgan's people, but it appears his Vegas plans have been leaked.

Ernest Performs "Why Dallas" On "Jimmy Kimmel Live": When's the last time you saw and heard Western swing music on one of the late-night shows? Been a long time, but that streak has officially been broken. Ernest was on "Jimmy Kimmel Live"  Tuesday night, and he brought a little country to the big city with his "Why Dallas," and late-night television is all the better for it.

Elle King Is Back With New Song, "Baby Daddy's Weekend": It would appear Elle King has moved past her Grand Ole Opry debacle back in January, and is readying the next phase of her career. The singer posted a teaser clip to X yesterday of a new single. Of the song "Baby Daddy's Weekend," King says, "I’ve been lucky enough to have lived, loved, and partied with the best of them. I’ve written songs for every era of my good times. My new song is for the people who deserve a good summer. It’s for people who need a break from their kids but miss them when they aren’t around. It’s for the people working two jobs, the people who never get to put themselves first! It’s a song for all the people who make this world go round. Life isn’t always fun and games, but when it is, it’s my Baby Daddy’s Weekend." The song comes out tomorrow.

Oklahoma Sooners Honor Toby Keith By Painting His Name On Their Football Field: In his song "How Do You Like Me Now?" Toby Keith sings, "I wrote your number on the 50-yard line." In the song, that was meant as a way to get a girl's attention. In real life, the Oklahoma Sooners did something similar as a tribute to the late country singer. Though Toby never attended Oklahoma University, he was a big supporter of the school, often seen at their sporting events. This past weekend, the Sooners played their annual spring game, and once again the Big Dawg Daddy was on Sooner Nation's mind. Painted on the field on both 25-yard lines was an image of the singer and his name in big red letters. On the OU Sooners social media account, with pics of the tribute, was the caption "Honoring an Oklahoma legend. We love you and miss you every day, TK."
