Cody Johnson has dropped a new song to coincide with the announcement of the track listing for his upcoming album "Leather." The 12 tracks listed reveal some newly-announced collaborations, but one high-profile collab that has already been talked about is curiously not listed.

The collaborations on the album include songs with Jelly Roll ("Whiskey Bent") and Brooks & Dunn ("Long Live Country Music"), but one that has been talked about and fans were waiting on is curiously missing - the upcoming duet with Carrie Underwood. The reason for that may be hiding in plain sight.

In a discussion of the upcoming album some months back, Johnson said of the Carrie duet, "It's done. We have no clue when it's gonna come out," he explained. "It's on a 24-track record. So, I'll probably break that record up somehow. Maybe a Vol. 1, Vol. 2 and we'll see where it fits in, but it's all about Carrie's timing and what our teams think is best." Note that he mentions it's a 24-track record, and the track listing he dropped for "Leather" has twelve tracks. So it looks like there will be a second volume of "Leather," and the Carrie song will most likely end up there. See the tracklist for "Leather" below - and hear the newly-release track "That's Texas" to the right.
