CMT Unveils 2020’s “Next Women of Country," Tanya Tucker To Headline Tour

CMT just announced the 11 rising signed and unsigned artists that will be celebrated as part of their seventh annual "Next Women of Country" series. This year’s class includes Hailey Whitters, Abbey Cone, Renee Blair, Tiera, Gabby Barrett, Avenue Beat, Kylie Morgan, Walker County, Caylee Hammack, Sycamore and Madison Kozak.
The announcement and celebration took place in Nashville, which featured a surprise appearance by 2020’s CMT Next Woman of Country Tour headliner Tanya Tucker. Dates and venues for the tour, as well as artists that will join her, will be announced at a later date.
The event also honored Brandi Carlile with the 2019 Impact Award, which she received for her “outstanding achievements and contributions to women in the country music, while impacting songwriting, recording, radio airplay, record sales, streams, media impressions, awards and touring in country music over the past year.”
