Carrie Underwood is set to return as host of the CMA Awards, only this year she’ll be joined by Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton, and she’s thrilled to be sharing the stage with such legendary female artists.
“I was very pleased and happy and excited to hear the news that the CMA wanted to have this year’s show be focused on women in country music – past, present, future, all of us together standing united,” she shares.
As for her co-hosts, she notes, “It does not get bigger than that or better than that,” adding, “ I think it’s gonna be a wonderful night and couldn’t be more excited to stand up there with Reba and Dolly.”
This year’s CMA Awards will air November 13th on ABC, live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
