Carrie Underwood Debuts New Sunday Night Football Theme “Game On”

Carrie Underwood’s new NBC Sunday Night Football theme debuted last night. This year’s tune, “Game On,” was written alongside frequent collaborators, Brett James and Chris DeStefano. Carrie says they decided to write a new tune because the network is “always looing for ways to freshen things up.”
“It’s a lot of fun getting to be a part of football,” Carrie says. “ grew up watching football, of course, and watching Sunday Night Football, and to just to have kind of a little part to the whole thing is pretty cool and pretty special.”
This year’s opening features ten NFL players, including the Seattle Seahawks' Russell Wilson, Pittsburgh Steelers’ Antonio Brown, four players from the Philadelphia Eagles and more. Check out the opening theme below.
