Carly Pearce is ready to drop a new album. The record will be an expansion of her “29” EP, titled “29:Written in Stone” and it will be released September 17th.
“So much has happened to me in the last year. The more my life unraveled, the more the songs lifted me up,” Carly shares. “As the smoke cleared, and some unbelievable things started happening, I was writing even more truth and getting lifted up even higher. And I realized, as much as 29 captured a moment.”
She adds, “I wasn’t done with the story.”
- Carly also shared a new song from the record, the tune “Dear Miss Loretta,” which features a guest appearance by Patty Loveless. “To hear Patty Loveless sing your words, there’s no way to describe that sensation,” she shares. “To think, a year ago, I was asking myself “What would Patty do?” thinking about all her songs, how smart and sassy she always was... and now she’s on one of mine.”
- ONE MORE THING! Last night Carly officially became a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and that honor, as well as the two ACMs is making her realize she's on the right track with her career. She notes, “I think it’s just 31 years of dreams that I really have had since I was a little girl, coming true.”
