Congratulations are in order for Canaan Smith. The singer just revealed that he and wife Christy are expecting their first child in November.
With the baby due in just six weeks, the couple waited quite awhile to share the news, and they’re keeping the gender of the baby secret, not only from the public, but from themselves as well.
“We love surprises and we are waiting to find out [the sex] in the delivery room,” Canaan tells “People,” adding, that they’re “constantly adding and erasing names” to their list of baby names. He adds, “We both love unique names, so it’s been a blast to do this together.”
