BRETT YOUNG WAS A "DAWSON'S CREEK" FREAK BACK IN THE DAY

Brett Young was visiting with Cody Alan of CMT Hot 20 Countdown when the conversation turned to one of Brett's 90's fixations - "Dawson's Creek." Yup - country stars, they're just like you and me.

Young admitted to "Creek" being must-watch tv for him when he was in high school. And to prove how "90's" this conversation was, he revealed, "'Dawson's Creek'" was something that I had to record on VHS on nights that I had baseball or basketball games because I refused to miss it. I know that makes me sound old - but it's true!" Alan then gifted him a DVD collection of the program, which Young clutched to his chest and said, "You feel like that's a joke - I'm gonna watch these!"
