Brett Young Revisits Baseball Career In New “Catch” Video

Brett Young just dropped the video for his latest single “Catch,” which was filmed at his alma mater University of Mississippi, and has Brett revisiting his previous life as a college baseball star. 

“It was definitely bittersweet, but almost felt full circle too,” Brett tells CMT. “It was pretty special to be back there for a music video, the past meeting the present.”

And while Brett may not have wound up a huge baseball star, he did pretty well for himself and he hopes that serves as a message to fans. He notes, “I hope they can see that even if something doesn’t work out how you wanted or planned, there might be something better for you around the corner.” Check out the video here.

• ONE MORE THING! As we previously told you, Brett and wife Taylor are expecting a baby girl, and he now realizes, “I’m gonna probably have to get used to a lot of pink in my house,” but he admits “I can’t wait.” He adds, “I’ve wanted to be a dad for a long time and I can’t even imagine if I love my wife this much, how much more even it’s going to be when it’s my little girl.”
