Brett Young Always Thought He Wanted A Baby Boy

Brett Young and wife Taylor are expecting their second little girl this year, and while he’s excited to have to girls, he admits that when he originally thought of kids, he thought he wanted a baby boy.
“I have a half-sister, but growing up in my house, my sister had already moved out, so it was just like me and my dad,” Brett explains. “And so, that’s why I was excited to have a boy and wanted to have that relationship.”
But Brett calls daughter Presley a “blessing,” noting, “I can’t imagine having a better relationship with my child than I do with my daughter.”
He says that while his wife will have to deal with some of the challenges Presley will face, he’s glad to just be “the big ‘ol dad that she runs and jumps in bed and watches cartoons with” noting, “it’s been perfect.”
