Brandi Carlile & Maren Morris Debut New Song At Brandi’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Weekend”

Brandi Carlile got some of her musical friends down to Riviera Maya, Mexico this weekend for he first-ever “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Weekend.” In addition to Brandi, the weekend featured performances by such female artists as Indigo Girls, Mavis Staples, Maren Morris, andShawn Colvin.
The weekend featured some unique sets, including a guitar pull featuring many of the artists, and a set where the artists treated the crowd to covers of songs from the 80s.
There were also some unique collaborations, and One of them was between Brandi and Maren, who debuted a new song called “Common.” As for when fans will get to hear a studio version of the song, Maren seemed to hint that it may come out this week. When a fan tweeted over the weekend that it would be “coming out next week,” she responded“guess the cat’s outta the bag.” Check out their performance below.
